第一次听这首歌的时候是去年夏天，在广州的时候，我正在厨房做面条，电视里面放着Billboard Hot 100，我听到这首歌的时候就丢下面条跑到电视前面了，看到了演唱者在缓缓的唱着“You're beautiful. You're beautiful.....”，凄迷的眼神和简单却优美的旋律一下子就刻到了我的脑海中，我当时没有看到歌曲名和演唱者，但是时隔一年多后的今天，我凭着印象中的那几句“You're beautiful. You're beautiful..”很快就找到了这首歌，找到了James Blunt，这位英国的“上尉诗人”。

优美而不落俗套的旋律，犹如coldplay；有点中性而显得凄美的嗓音，犹如SUEDE，所以他首张个人专辑《Back to Bedlam》发行一年后就成为全英销量冠军专辑，而他也从一个酒吧歌手一跃成为天皇巨星！
